Three local artists are going to publish a book showcasing the entire creative community in Eastern North Carolina.

The book is being sponsored under the auspices of the Greater Good Gallery of New Bern, North Carolina.

The artists involved in this project are John Derby, Lisa Bisbee-Lentz & Ben Watford. The project is being undertaken to acknowledge those artists in Eastern North Carolina who have made a contribution to the art community.


As a creative artist in Eastern North Carolina, we are inviting you to participate in the endeavor.

Ben Watford explains, "Civilizations are judged, not by their wars, not by their politics or their leaders but by the art that they produce. It is your privileged to inform the larger community and future generations of what you attempted to accomplish as an artist, who you are as a person and show all concerned samples of the art that you have produced. As designed, the books will explain who you are as an artist."

PREREQUISITE:
  • You are a creative individual in Eastern North Carolina.
  • You are located east of Raleigh, but not the city of Raleigh. 
  • Each page must include a picture of the you, biography and sample of creative work produced by the you.
  • You are responsible for designing your own page. (The authors of the book reserve that right to suggest changes to the page or pages with the collaboration of the artist.)
  • Organizations or businesses related to the creative industry are welcome to participate (subject to approval).

PAGE SPECIFICATIONS: 
  • $60 for One full page, Full Color, 8.75w"x11.25h", bleed and trim to 8.5"x11"
  • $120 for a Two Page SPREAD, full color, 17.25w" x 11.25h", bleed and trim to  17"x11" 

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT PAYMENT:  February 14, 2017

Deadline to submit HI-RESOLUTION PDF of your page: February 14, 2017

DATE THE BOOK WILL BE PRINTED BY: the projected completion of the project is January 2018 (or earlier).
